Quicksilver Manual > Plug-ins > Shelf plug-in
The plug-in provides a shelf for temporary storage. The shelf acts like a stack. Newly added items are placed right at the top of the shelf so you can tell in what order items were placed on the shelf. The shortcut key for invoking the shelf is ⌥⌘S.
Usage and Detailed Documentation
When the shelf is initially empty for the first time, it won't be listed in the Catalog preference pane. The moment items are placed on the shelf and the Quicksilver > Shelf & Clipboard (Catalog) has been rescanned, the shelf would be listed as a scanned object. The catalog rescanning interval is dependent on the value set for Rescan catalog in the Catalog preference pane via Quicksilver's preferences. To rescan it manually, select Shelf & Clipboard (Catalog) as the direct object in the first pane and set the action to Rescan Catalog Entry in the second pane. Press enter/return to execute the action.
