The plug-in provides support for email actions.

This plug-in is automatically installed after the installation of a mail plug-in such as Apple Mail plug-in.

• Compose Email Compose a new email to the selected Address Book contact or email address.
  1. Invoke Quicksilver
  2. Select an Address Book contact as the direct object in the first pane
     1. (Optional) Type in an email address via text mode as the direct object in the first pane instead
  3. Set the action to Compose Email in the second pane
  4. Type in the text as the subject for the email via text mode as the indirect object in the third pane
  5. Press enter/return to execute the action

• Email Item… (Compose) Compose a new email with subject to the selected Address Book contact or email address.

  2. Select an Address Book contact as the direct object in the first pane
     1. (Optional) Type in an email address via text mode as the direct object in the first pane instead
  3. Set the action to Email Item… (Compose) in the second pane
  4. Type in the subject of the email via text mode as the indirect object in the third pane
     1. (Optional) Select a file or folder as the indirect object in the third pane instead
  5. Press enter/return to execute the action

• Email Item… (Send Directly) Sends email to the selected Address Book contact or email address. The mail client does not have to be active when the email is being sent.

  2. Select an Address Book contact as the direct object in the first pane and select it
     1. (Optional) Type in an email address via text mode as the direct object in the first pane instead
  3. Set the action to Email Item… (Send Directly) in the second pane
  4. Select the file/folder, URL link or text (via text mode) as the indirect object in the third pane
  5. Press enter/return to execute the action

• Email Item… (Send) Sends email to the selected Address Book contact or email address. The mail client will have to be launched first (if it hasn't already been launched) before the email can be sent.

When typing text via text mode, the subject and message portion of the email can be submitted in the following fashion:

To enter a new line within the text mode, press option-return (⌥⏎).
