About
Del.icio.us is a social bookmarking system that allows you to browse users' bookmarks by category and store your own bookmarks, accessible from any computer! This plug-in allows you to access your del.icio.us bookmarks from within Quicksilver, making the service much easier to use.Visit del.icio.us .
Usage and Detailed Documentation
After the plug-in has been installed, click the Add custom source button on the lower left corner of the Catalog preference pane via Quicksilver's preferences. Select Del.icio.us Bookmarks and press enter/return.
A new Del.icio.us Bookmarks source will be listed under Custom. Select the source and click on the Show Info button to reveal the information drawer (if it is not already opened) and click on the Source Options tab at the bottom of the information drawer. Enter the name and password for a del.icio.us user account and select the Include tags checkbox if you wish to include tags into the catalog as well. Please note that you must have a simple password otherwise the plugin will not be able to retrieve your bookmarks.
Click the Rescan source to the left of the Show Info button to rescan the source. Once the source has been rescanned (you should see a new count to the right of the source), you will have access to all the links bookmarked within the del.icio.us account as well as tags (if the checkbox for the option is selected). Once you've set up the plug-in, just start typing the title of one of your bookmarks and it should show up in the command window.

Suggestions
- Also “grabbing” the URL of the current page one is on, allowing the entering of tags, and then submitting it on to del.icio.us, in the background. (both of these would require a local database of current tags. perhaps talking with Adriaan Tissjeling, developer of ecto, would be good as he already manages such a database.) see also the handy program cocoa.licio.us at http://scifihifi.com/
- I am very organized about my quicksilver catalog, and is there a way so that I have to type bookmarks first and then push right or something before it finds matches. I don't like a lot of options.
- I would love it if there was a way to filter del.icio.us bookmarks in the catalogue by tag. For example, if the plugin could let me indicate that I only want bookmarks that include the tag 'qs'.
