About Keyboard Triggers

Keyboard triggers are triggers that are activated using the keyboard. Like all triggers, these triggers are accessible from any application.

Using Keyboard Triggers

To enable triggers, ensure that “Enable advanced features” is enabled in the Application Preferences. Once a trigger has been created it can be assigned a particular hotkey, making it a keyboard trigger. To activate the trigger, press the associated hotkey. While you can assign almost any hotkey (at least one modifier key with one normal key) to a command, it is recommended that you choose hotkeys that do not interfere with your frequently used applications. For example, it is not a good idea to assign zS to any command, because this would override the save functionality of almost every application on your system.
